Welcome to Twogether ("we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile application ("App").
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Name (first and last name of both partners)
- Email address
- Profile photos and couple photos
- Bio and icebreaker answers
- Location (approximate, city-level)
- Relationship status and interests
- Messages sent to other couples
Information collected automatically:
- Device information and app usage data
- Crash reports and performance data
- App interaction data (swipes, matches, sessions)
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your couple profile
- Show your profile to other couples nearby
- Facilitate matches, chats, and date planning
- Send push notifications about matches and messages
- Verify couple identity through our verification feature
- Improve app performance and fix bugs
- Respond to customer support requests
4. How We Share Your Information
With other users: Your couple profile, photos, bio, interests, and icebreakers are visible to other Twogether users.
With service providers:
- Supabase (database and authentication)
- RevenueCat (subscription management)
- Expo (app infrastructure)
- Apple (payment processing)
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your data with advertisers.
5. Location Information
We collect approximate location to show you couples nearby. We do not collect or store your precise GPS coordinates. Location is used only to calculate distance between couples and is never shared publicly on your profile.
6. Couple Verification
If you choose to verify your couple, we collect selfie photos of both partners. These photos are used solely for identity verification purposes, reviewed by our team, and stored securely. Verification photos are not displayed publicly.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently delete your profile, photos, messages, and all associated data within 30 days.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Opt out of push notifications at any time

9. Children's Privacy
Twogether is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.
10. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission and secure cloud storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
11. In-App Purchases
Twogether offers an optional premium subscription (Twogether+). All payments are processed securely by Apple. We do not store your payment card information. Subscription management is handled through your Apple ID account settings.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
